4th Annual Workforce Development Excellence Award The Houston Business Roundtable held a celebration banquet on October 28, 2005 at the Hilton Hobby Airport to recognize industrial contractors that have achieved an outstanding performance in the area of workforce development. The participating contractors perform construction and maintenance work in chemical plants, refineries and energy facilities throughout the greater Houston area. Sixteen contractors were nominated for this annual award, from which eleven finalists were identified and four winners were chosen in four different categories. The winner were; Amber, Inc. I.C.S., Inc. Specialty Contractor - Hard Crafts General Contractor - Small
General Contractor - Large Specialty Contractor - Soft Crafts
Owners are also recognized for effectively implementing the HBR Key Points of Agreement and are actively involved in supporting workforce development through a community approach in the greater Houston area including our friends as far away as Freeport.
