Mission Statement

This committee is a source for owners and contractors to learn how to improve their safety performance, latest regulatory requirements, and other issues related to safety and health of employees.

Objectives

• Coordinate and support activities and programs to improve member/contractor and owner organization employees’ safety and health at their work place.
• Maintain and promote a contractor safety award program (owner to nominate contractors).

Meetings

The Safety, Health & Environmental Resource Committee meets at 8:00 a.m. the third Thursday of each month (except July) at the HBR office.  The first meeting in January of each year will be followed by the Safety Audit Training Session and June is Best Practices for the Safety Excellence Award.
